new beginnings

The year is almost up and I have finally made progress on my Shetland fair isle hat.  I love it.

We went for a long walk today with 2/3 of the kids and all the locals are hurrying around getting ready for New Year's Day.  It feels very festive.

I am thinking of signing up for a year long photography course and mulling over making some more changes.  It all feels like it is going in the right direction.  Mostly....
