Since my husband joined the fs I have been pretty crafty. This is not even the half of it, probably not even a quarter of it...I am really bad at remembering to take pictures. I should do better with that..

Wow, it's like your own catalog. Impressive!
ReplyDeleteWhat impresses me even more about myself is that I figured out how to make that mosiac thingy!
ReplyDeleteSo if we ever end up at post together you will give lessons? An how did you do that mosaic thing?
ReplyDeleteLooking good, A! I want to learn the mosaic thing too! Are any of the pics items you made while in Beijing?
ReplyDeleteThe Weekly State Department Blog Round-up is posted, and you're on it! http://whaleears.blogspot.com/2011/03/artsy-crafty-round-up.html.
ReplyDeleteIf I've made any errors, or you prefer not to be included, just let me know. Thank you!
I think some of the socks were from Beijing Wendy - I am awful at remembering to take pictures though!
ReplyDeleteI just did a search for something like 'making mosiac using flickr' I think I used something at Big Huge Labs. It sort of looked like you had to pay, but you didn't and it was sort of wonky - I think I ended up having to email it to myself or something...
ReplyDeleteI just saw your comment on Lana's blog and I had to check yours out... Oh, boy, do I ever know what it's like to try to sound positive about a posting city you aren't thrilled with. (Budapest? Three years, way too much. Yaounde? I'd go back in an instant. Etc.) I love your blog! (and Ottawa too, for that matter...) and I completely symphatize with the unemployed aspect... Look, another country, another language, and no job! --a Canadian fs spouse (mostly happy but always looking to complain to like-minded people...)
